jlambuth 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Now this is what I call good photography. Can't beat a good long exposure in black and white. The "feel" of this image is great and I love the texture. Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted March 10, 2006 I'm delighted by the scale of this shot. As a rule, we see lots of big cascades taken with slow shutter speeds, or the sea. But this has to be the smallest body of water photographed like it. It's a beautiful photograph, I like the tones and treatment. P Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted March 10, 2006 What a great shot! Everything works well. Any chance of seeing what it was like in colour? Link to comment
musashi 0 Posted May 23, 2006 As far as I'm concerned, at first sight, Carlo's b&w pictures look superb! Therefore, sorry, in MY point of view [i'm not a "manipulation" fan in any degree: darkroom in analog. neither photoshop or equivalent in dig.] I feel a lack of technical informations from Carlos about his photographs...Would the extraordinaire - well balanced - hues of blacks, whites & grays be "natural"? Would the softness of water texture be "real"? Finally, would the clouds in the backgrounds match so accurately - in terms of light metering - with the rest of scenario using only "external" filters? Anyway Carlos, your photos really have a dramatic mood. Sergio Moreira. P.S. An answer would be very welcome! Link to comment
ruinog 0 Posted May 29, 2006 I don't like the way water looks. Running water isn't like this. Link to comment
