canonfodder 0 Posted March 6, 2006 This moor is very near to my home and after leaving work I thought the clouds looked rather interesting. Grabbing the gear, I took this shot. The white 'blob' you can see on the image is the summit stone. Comments welcomed. Link to comment
crob2go 0 Posted March 6, 2006 I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT THE CLOUD LAYER, BUT THE SUMMITT STONES I FIND DISTRACTING Link to comment
canonfodder 0 Posted March 6, 2006 I wasn't sure whether to clone it out or not but then it wouldn't represent what I actually saw. Thanks for the comment though. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 6, 2006 I often think that the difficulty in shots like these (and the ones I've taken on the moors) is one of scale, the scenes are so desolate that their is ntohing for the brain to work out how big things are, I'm still contemplating how to achieve this without having to insert myself into the frame. I'm not at all put off by the summit stone, but do find the tilted horizon a little offputting. I wonder how the light catches on that scar at sunset/rise? Link to comment
