joe-tury 0 Posted July 1, 2006 I like the pic but I don't understand the red spots.(?)What point are you trying to make with them? Overall it's eye catching. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted July 1, 2006 Lisa, I would love to see this as a close up portrait without the blood stains. This photo is a true winner without the red stains, so therefore I feel they are unnecessary. Your younger daughter is as lovely as Nichole and we've not seen enough of her since she's gotten older. She must be about 10 now? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 1, 2006 I disagree about the red splotches (I never thought of them as blood). I think they are essential as compositional devices to anchor the girl to her environment. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted July 1, 2006 Glen, I will defer to Miranda as to the meaning of the bullet holes, or blood splatters on the forearm and the ankle. They certainly don't look like prints from a duck that has waddled through some red ink! Link to comment
vertigoclimb 5 Posted July 3, 2006 lol. thanks. The red was added by Miranda. She's learning to use photoshop and thought it looked too "cool" to remove. She also loved the greenish hue. I think she's a lot like me with her sureal view of things. :o) She's 9 now and growing much too fast. Link to comment
sherwinjames 0 Posted August 5, 2006 Great job with the lighting on this one. Give a soft looking to a very edgy shot. Very imaginative. Link to comment
