A nice, intense candid shot. Two suggestions: I'd like to see a little more space above his head, and perhaps just a bit more contrast.

Hi Joao. I must agree with Elaine on the too tight crop and contrast. On the shot itself I must say that this as your touch all over it. Your "portraits eye" is tremendous. Anyway of re-crop this one? Best regards

This picture is underexposed,it could 've been a nice shot.

There is not much I can (better said, I know how to) do about contrast. The photo was actually taken in very bad conditions, from a van in movement.

 

About cropping it differently, I will try a second one and post it a second time.

Here's an idea working with the current crop. First, I did Autolevels, which brightened up the highlights. Then I used the Curves function to create a very slight "s-curve" to increase the contrast. Then History Brush on the arms, which had gotten too light. A little dodging of the highlights in the eyes, and finally Unsharp Mask (.5 pixels, 88 percent, threshold 3). Hope this helps!
