In advance I didn't got the title completely Detlef, but thanks to Google I know now all about the history of the gun and that adds (at least to me) an extra value to this really excellent composition. I have seen a several pictures of how the gun is situated and Wow Detlef that makes all the difference with the work you've created! A real fantastic job you did!

It's great to have a view to the modern neonlightened skyline of Vancouver from the historic spot which strangely enough doesn't look as such but that will be caused by your excellent treatment. Impressive how the old gun and the glassbuilding forms an integral part of the picture. Past en present seamless together! The whole scene with its beautiful reflections and great sky even radiates a futuristic mood. Excellent picture with wonderful colour tones and lights. Would be great as a postcard to represent Vancouver!

Warm greetings dear Detlef, Ada:~)

I thought you very just a beauty..butI see a very intelligent one ! not many people would go thru the trouble in getting all the info on the gun...and I suppose I should have given more....why did I not...I usually like my images to stand on their own...but in this case a bit of info would certainly have only added to the image.

Thank You once again my dear Ada...You are so Very Very Kind !

You have capture a near perfect 10 of 10 here.

In the 70's I don't recall the gun being enclosed?

Beautiful Shot... (No Pun Intended)...J.C.
