Only a boat

This photography has been taken at the end of September 2002 in Laigueglia a sea town in the Ligurian Riviera. The bathing season was finishing and the fishing boats came withdrawn on the beach. The name of the boat is "Marianna" and it is one of the boats that belongs to Laigueglia fishermen cooperative. The members of the cooperative are much mistrustful towards who want to photograph their boats, therefore I have had to photograph this with a telephoto lens being tried to shrink the visual and to eliminate the persons who worked around. It is the only great fishing boat that remains in Laigueglia. It was impossible for me to remove the little wood pieces around to the boat neither to ask of removing the cover from the engine or to resume the same one from an other angle-shot. The day was not of most limpid and it was in the late afternoon, I have tried to obtain the best that it could from my Nikon coolpix 995. Thanks for your comments!

Nando, e' sempre un piacere vedere le tue foto.

Questa forse l'avevo gia' vista su PP, ma forse mi sbaglio.

Belli i toni tenui e i colori della scena.

In post-processing secondo me hai fatto qualche errorino (hai applicato per caso un filtro "soft" tipo Neatimage ?).

L'orizzonte ha un leggerissimo tilting, peccato veniale.

Color and image are wonderful; however, the treatment of the water's surface is unlike any I have ever viewed. Exceptional!
