michelle a. 0 Posted March 4, 2006 Inspired by the work of Maggie Taylor..... this is a combination of 19th century photographs found at antique stores and my own photographs and/or scans of objects. All manipulated to completion in Photoshop CS2. Link to comment
michelle a. 0 Posted March 5, 2006 Really curious as to what others think about this... This is acombination of 19 century photography and my own photography andscanography. Inspired by the work of the lovely Maggie Taylor. I'vedone relatively few of these.... enjoyable but alas definitely more"Maggie" than "Michelle". And yes probably far more *mixed medium*than photography, but ahhhh well....... Link to comment
roylohr 0 Posted March 9, 2006 Good work. Worth further exploration for sure. I have wondered myself about scanning as a means of photography. The scanner does in a manner take pictures. Link to comment
pamela_ezeta 0 Posted February 19, 2007 I like the orange highlights within your picture. I like antique photographs also, they have character (I'm actually inspired to dig through my 'archives' now!). The butterfly wings add an abstract touch to the picture. I can't help but to notice the contrast between the butterfly wings and the mouse belly up on the lower left corner...very intersting contradicting images. I myself like alterations-they cross the border between photos and abstract paintings & invite the imagination (within artwork, borders are meant to be crossed-there should be no guidelines!)....good work! Take care. Link to comment
