mona_chrome 0 Posted March 6, 2006 I think this is a nicely seen photo, as are many in your portfolio. I like the use of the curve to bring in the eye. I think you chose a position that was very close to creating a distracting line of the inner bank, but were just enough right to avoid that.(if the inner bank had been 90 degrees to the bottom, I think the photo would have suffered for it) The contrast is fine to me, but i did notice what appears to be oversharpening in many of your landscapes, but didn't see it in your people shots(I didn't look at everything obviously, but this was my conclusion from the ones I did look at) I am not sure why you are doing this, but I hope it is only after you resize these for posting here. That said, the oversharpening doesn't mean you aren't seeing well, because you are. Link to comment
dchatter 0 Posted March 7, 2006 A beautiful composition and wonderful contrast/sharpness. Lovely dramatic sky contrasting the serene landscape below. Your b/w landscapes are delightful to behold. Please keep sharing. Best regards. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Interesting lighting--from behind and to the right. It makes the details of the sand shelf stand out. Well seen! Link to comment
cocasana 0 Posted March 9, 2006 An other wonderful photo! The System didn't allow me to rate 7/7 as I would have liked, I'll have to come back and correct it! Link to comment
