gilles_lapointe 0 Posted January 8, 2002 Same place as the 2 previous one but different date and time of the day. I really think the rock in the foreground is making an impact now. What do you think? Link to comment
paulfisher 0 Posted January 8, 2002 This is very nice - the colours are excellent, and the curve of the lake with the hills beyond is nicely balanced by the foreground rock. Link to comment
stephen fair 0 Posted January 8, 2002 Gilles, This is a pleasant subject but I feel the rock in the foreground should be central to highlight the symmetry with the curve of the lake. Also the horizon is not exactly horizontal. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted January 8, 2002 Isn't that the tree line that's crooked and not the horizon, hence an optical illusion? And if the rock was in the middle, that would change the orientation of the trees in the background. Or am I wrong? Link to comment
steve_baldwin 0 Posted January 10, 2002 I think that if the foreground rock were centered the image would be much too static and dead. I think it's very nice as it is. Not overly complex an image, just nice. Link to comment
philmorris 0 Posted January 11, 2002 Very nice indeed. The rock is exposed perfectly and I do like the little branch on the rock surrounded by those thin blades of green. I also happen to think the rock is in the right place and that it would be a brave man indeed who put money on the horizon being out. Link to comment
