Nicely composed. It's like a little roller-coaster. I find the warm toning appealing. To be hypercritical, one thing I noticed is that the highlight edge of the focused spiral seems a bit over burned. I suspect you did this so that there wouldn't be a convergence with the background one. If you burned it in PS try setting the burning to "midtones" instead of "highlights." This way PS hunts out any of the lower level pixels while retaining the high ones resulting in a more natural darkening. Again, I'm only suggesting this because this definately has potential.
