Guest Guest Posted February 26, 2006 Great photo and beautiful composition. I especially like the repeating vertical lines of the trunks in the background. To me though, the rain looks as if it has be ps'd. Was it really raining? The water looks so calm in comparison to such a heavy downpour, and something about the depth of image doesn't sit quite right. Strange location to fish with such a substantial rod? I don't know..sorry for being so critical. I don't mean to be negative as it's a great effect overall. Cheers, Bond. Link to comment
jarek 0 Posted February 26, 2006 Backlighting turns it into a piece of art. I love the rain falling down. The overall mood is there. The rod seems little too thick in the middle. Is it a real rod or it was added later on? Nevertheless it is a great image. Link to comment
arnabbanerjee 0 Posted February 26, 2006 Looks like heavy PS work on this - but like the idea and composition a lot Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted February 27, 2006 Bolti, worth waiting for a beautiful image like this one. Very good rendering of light and shade and vertical/horizontal lines. Why should you bother whether they are fishing for fun or living? You might worry whether they could get fish in rain :-) Link to comment
