Guest Guest Posted March 5, 2006 LOL! That's a riot :) Composition is great - pity it's sort of soft, but I'd still send it off to someone at Sonic Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted March 6, 2006 M Barbu, Kim, Baerbel, and Kathy Thank you one and all. I actually have thought about sending a copy of this to Sonic. :) When I first saw this guy he was fighting with another squirrel over the cup. It was empty but I am guessing the originial contents were someting sweet and syrupy and the residue was the big attraction. Thats my best guess anyway. Link to comment
lgreene 0 Posted March 6, 2006 ehhhh.. if it was sucking through a straw now THAT would be impressive! Just kidding with you. Funny moment but did you share your fries also? Someone I know saw a squirrel trying to carry a biscuit across the road and it was so top heavy it would fall forward and the back legs kept a kickin'. They had to stop their vehicle and just laugh in amazement. Crafty critters. Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Thank you Leann. Re the straw, I wish. :) Squirrels are actually quite clever little critters. Just ask anyone who has ever tried to keep one out of a bird feeder. Its a losing proposition. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 8, 2006 When my parents lived in CO, my dad got tired of the squirrels in the bird feeder so he built a squirrel feeder. It was a two level, six room gourmet buffet! They *love* dry dog food - first room on the first level. Then dried corn, some sunflower seeds, peanuts, mixed nuts, bird seed... they ha to use some stairs to get to one of the rooms, and there were various twists and turns and puzzles in getting to the other rooms. The squirrels were absolutley *fascinated* and dad never had another problem at the bird feeder :) The dog, on the other hand, hated it.. squirrels AND birds AND *his* food and all out of range.. mcgarity 0 Posted March 9, 2006 That sounds like a heck of a construction Kathy. From your description I can just picture the the dog's reaction in my mind. Speaking of which my guys are always trying to catch squirrels in the park. To date the score is roughly squirrels 5000, dogs 0. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 22, 2006 You should really send this to Sonic headquarters. This is great. Link to comment

mcgarity 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Rafik, Laurie, and Jayme Sorry to be so long in responding. I would have done so earlier except I am in the middle of a business trip and haven't had a chance to check photo.net in a few days. That said I do appreciate the comments. Thank you much. :) Larry Link to comment
