I didn't think that the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens was capable of this shallow DOF. Was there a PS blur added?

Yeah you used the lens... it is possible..

but with the lens AND an extension

 

but with the lens AND a close up filter

 

but with the lens AND a reverse adapter

 

but with the lens AND some blur in PS...

Haha! No, Angel, just the lens! (levels,curves, contrast, highlights/shadows, exposure,usm, crop, save for web in PS). So your house could be mine!

I do like this too. I am not so sure about the space between the two drill bits to the right. A tiny touch more OR a lot more might be better. Really though... it is fine as is.
