Nice colors on the ground, and the detail in the sky is impressive.

To me, the stick in the foreground looks like a scratch on the negative but otherwise a great surreal landscape.

I love how my eye is drawn to the center. Great job!

a scratch on the positive film, its a plant's

branch.

You can see another shot of this theme (Infrared landscape at Lacopetra"), with another infrared

effect due to other season (The amount of infrared

radiation was different due to dissimilar moisture

and sunlight).

the twigs bother me a little and I would like more detail in the tree (closer to the background ones maybe) but I was drawn to this image

The colors are just sooooooo unnatural.

 

Why do people find them stunning and why beautiful? I have never seen such in the world as it is.

 

Why not pink the grass, blue the clouds and green the clear sky? I bet you, your audience would be impressed and rate the pic even higher, a 12/12, maybe?

Frank - and who cares if the colors are "unnatural"? so is B&W.. so is velvia. And doing the whole landscape in pinks, green and blues might look fantastic, if you knew what you were doing.

 

Whoever said photography is only about realism?
