Great shot, possibly the best in the portfolio, IMHO. Having said that, I think the photo would benefit from a slightly larger tonal range... Keep shootin'!

It's somehow funny to see your canal keepers looking towards the possibly incoming ships while letting the ship in the backround pass, probably after a thorough inspecition. :) They seem like border control to me, just waiting for the next suspicious face to show up. :)

 

While the picture is technically good, like Dejan, I would like to see some more tonality, a little more detail. Perhaps some detail in the background (preferably blurred but visible) would make this picture a bit more vivid.

About the photo, I just though they were funny standing on that stone in Zadar canal while all the boats were passing by. As I am not good in post processing, this is the best I could get from converting it to B/W.
