salvatore.mele 1 Posted February 22, 2006 ...memories, sometimes, are not that sharp. Do you like this shot? What would you change? And why? Your comments and criticisms are much welcome! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 22, 2006 It's impossible not to like this, a reflection of the world's most beautiful building. What would I change? I'd probably eliminate the entire sky and fill the frame with a section of the amazing reflection. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 23, 2006 What would I change? imo, a little crop on the Lh/s to include the entire reflection as a starting point of the fg. Very nice reflections and an original approach to the very photographed monument. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted February 23, 2006 I wouldn't change a thing, since I think that the color of the sky adds that extra dimention into the dream like quality of the image and it complements it quite well. Great image and an achieved "Dream".Complimenti. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted March 2, 2006 A few more ripples might be more convincing. Did you think of throwing a single stone into the pool before you shoot? As it is, it already good enough to be an attractive backdrop. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted March 4, 2006 I would like to dream in this way. Very unusual but beautiful image,Salvatore. Link to comment
jstyles 0 Posted March 5, 2006 This is great and unusual - I like it a lot. I would be tempted to have a look at noise reduction particularly in the sky (you know that's a weakness of mine). I might also play with the colour balance of the building to reduce the green cast that I think gives it a bit of haziness - may or may not look better. I think the composition is perfect as is. Very nice! Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted March 7, 2006 Just beautiful, Salvatore ... I really like this. I will probably go to India a couple times this year. I hope I can get to here with time to shoot! Whenever you have a reflection shot, you have to decide which way to present it. I think I would have left this upside down, personally (although I did flip mine of San Marco just as you did). Anyway, I agree with Julie about the noise reduction in the sky. But, I don't agree about the crop. I like the amount of sky and I think the composition and color are perfect. Very well done!
