hanna_v 0 Posted February 21, 2006 what an innovative frame! funny, but for me it does not work with the picture very well. cool perspective! the handrail looks like a tarantula. Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted February 22, 2006 Agree with Hanna on the frame. Somehow I find it caught too much attention & distracts from the image. The steps seem to lead us towards sunrise moment. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted February 22, 2006 OK, chips, here's another vote against the frame. The descent picture and the precipitating sky are beautiful: the frame steals attention. Link to comment
janet_. 0 Posted February 22, 2006 for me the frame works...I think... :0) Will be back to comment more. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 22, 2006 I'm with the "no's" on the frame - it's distracting me from an otherwise very appealing landscape. The lines of the rails should lead my eyes down, then up to the tree and sky, but instead, I'm getting pulled away by the bright frame. Link to comment
jeremy_c 0 Posted February 22, 2006 I enjoyed viewing all your photos. This scene looks quite familiar - was it taken from Kent Ridge Park? Btw, what time was the picutre taken? It's quite bright for 'before sunrise'. Cheers. Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted February 24, 2006 Chip's ,Yes a very special landscape. But I think too,the stairs would give anough entrance to the old master like, landscape,Marvellous sky and trees Link to comment

home page1 0 Posted March 4, 2006 I really like the perspective and the shadow and light detail on this one but, like others, I find the frame very distracting, to be honest. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 6, 2006 Chipsy, I echo Ken. Good perspective and beauiful sky colors and shapes.and as was said the frame.... a strong competition to the image itself. I wrote you an email sometime ago. Pnina Link to comment
