Splendid, Jay.I don't think I have ever seen cloud formetions and colors in such a blue, blue sly. The ground with its mosaic pattern and those lonely stones can be read as symbolic: the aridity of the ground and the phoenix's rebirth in the sky.Bravo!

I guess your title addresses the clouds formation, nice idea, I see him flying ;-) Well balanced, artful composition. I dont know whether I like the second rock in the distance, but probably it is more effective with than without. Great landscape, as always

It's my crazy belief that all these moving rocks are a conspiracy of the Park! But you've moved over all those potholes, waited and have captured a beautiful photo here. Colors and composition are beautiful and of course, there's no suggestions from me.

The distant rock is an interesting element. You could move it over to the right side to complete the diagonal line from the lowest cloud. It would add a triangle and tie the mountain together with the rest of the frame. It will probably slide over there in a few weeks anyway :o)

I hope I get to see this place someday...this is deliciously bold and stunning!

I've seen many pictures of these rocks on the "race track" but this is definitely one of the best. Great composition, exposure, and wonderful colors in the sky really make this shot. Strong work my friend!

I've shot the Racetrack twice now. Wish I had your clouds either time. A great capture of a very unique place. My buddy ChrisH(SoCal) and I camped overnight there in Feb. COLD!! (about 10 degrees) but the photographs we got were so worth it...RAY
