bruno_casals 0 Posted January 18, 2002 This is la Laguna Verde just down the Volcan Licancabur, on the Chile-Bolivia border. You HAVE to go there! Link to comment
ken_imduaikiat2 0 Posted January 27, 2002 Bruno... you aced this one...very very well done (clap clap)... The classic "S" composition was highlighted by the white sandy lookin ground. Blue and yellow are the two dominating hue, which were complemented by the dark orange in between. The placement of the person in with "Marboro" red pants was place a little off too the center from the left 1/3 vertical axis but acceptable because the alignment on the horizontal axis was OK--actually it would have been boring if you'd done it by the book. Inclusion of that person in the distance wouldn't have been as effective if it wasn't the "here look at me" red pants. Texture of the yellow ground in the foreground and the gentle rendering of the clouds in the sky were very attractive. Where is this place anyway? Nice. Link to comment
bruno_casals 0 Posted January 29, 2002 Thanks for your analysis. The yellow comes from sulfur and the white "sand" is actually salt! This amazing place is in the Desert of Atacama, on the Chile-Bolivia border. Link to comment
