oswegophoto 1 Posted February 20, 2006 Now this fairly pops! Crispy details, interesting colors (sorry, colours), outstandingly well-chosen DOF. I want to reach right in and feel the tiny hairs. Significantly better, IMO, than Rosebud. One leaf down, the other shyly up? Brava. Link to comment
amanda mumma 0 Posted February 20, 2006 Thanks Don - (how's things)? Yeah - I did the diffuse glow treatment and thought it was a bit boring so decided to go with the harsher and not as sucky treatment! I also cloned out the distracting leaf that 'stuck out' to the side. I'm glad someone else likes it - my hubby doesn't! Link to comment
oswegophoto 1 Posted February 20, 2006 Hey, I can rate it now ... cool! You're welcome, m'dear (I'm well, things're being coped with). "Not as sucky" - gee, that's what I've been striving for! BTW, do you have artichokes (big green semi-edible flowers) there? The greenish cast makes me think of their inner leaves. And no, I'm not arguing with hubby: the man who married you is obviously a gentleman of some discernment and no one to be trifled with. Link to comment
amanda mumma 0 Posted March 15, 2006 I just noticed this commment now (I don't have email notification turned on)! YEs is does look like artichoke colour and yes, my hubby is a gentleman - I just differ when it comes to his photographic tastes! Link to comment
oswegophoto 1 Posted March 15, 2006 Don't clutter up your e-mail, Amanda. On the page you get to when you click on "My Workspace", there's a link (in the Your Photos and Photo Critiques section) saying, "Follow-up on your comments on others' photos". Click it, and you get to see the last 100 photos you've commented on that someone has commented on since. Link to comment
