Lake fence, after the wind

I simply thought some of the patrons of photo.net might like an idea

of what it is like to live on one of the Great Lakes in the winter

I know this will be a weird comment -- but the photo reminded me of a baleen whale filtering water for plankton. Made me smile. I like the blue tones in the ice that mirror the tones in the water.

You're right and in fact it was filterng the water. It was way too cold for me to notice the connection.
