stupski 0 Posted February 22, 2006 I find the repetitive patterns wonderful to look at and like that they keep repeating in different forms. Using your interpretation of the scene, from busy to simplicity, I can better see how you intended it, though I did not initially see it that way. I also like the organic vs. geometric patterns very much. In honesty, do agree that the two open spaces at top tend to give a bit of a sense of clutter. Perspective is wonderful. Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted February 22, 2006 I've just updated the image with a new crop leaving the upper letters out. I'm for the majority, but this crop is as far I can go to still feel good with it. Thanks everyone for the suggestions and comments on this. Weston, about how I've overlapped the images; as I wrote before there was 4 photos almost perfectly equally composed as they were taken with the multiple shots feature of the camera. I've created 4 layers with these 4 different shots (some minor adjustments of the position of each layer were needed for them to match perfectly) and changed to blending mode of the 2 middle layers (2nd and 3rd) to 'difference' and the first one to 'darken'. Then over those, two adjustment layers, one for curves and other for channel mixer to convert to b&w. That was about it, but I've never done this before and I was just experimenting. There must be some other ways of doing it, though this one was quite easy. If interested in more details feel free to email me and I can send you the PS file. David, no negativity taken. Thank you for your interest. Link to comment

mg 0 Posted March 20, 2006 One of your very best pictures imo. I really like this amazing network of lines - escalators, floor lines, stripes on the clothes. All thes lines combined give me the impression that we are really on another planet, where law and order rule all things and people...:-) Great shot. Link to comment
