There was just a trickle of water when I first arrived to this falls,

but a thunderstorm moved in quickly. I sheltered under a rock

overhang, directly behind where this photo was taken and waited for

small breaks in the rain to jump out setup my tripod and shoot this.

I really like the umbrella patern the falls made after the water

starting picking up.

I would appreciate any feedback. I just registered and this is my

first photo that I uplaoded. Thanks...

Very nice fall colors. The composition is so so. You have a nice curve from the rocks in the foreground to the water, and finally to the fall color in the background, but I think there is too much of the foreground rocks. The rocks just blah. Having said that, this is still pretty good. Keep posting.

Jon,

I like the foreground/background relation. I understand that the red leaves in the left upper corner make a nice voice in the concert of the fall colors, but I would move the camera more to the right. The waterfall could be a little bit closer to the center, while there's too much rocks and sand in the left third of the picture.

Having said this, I love the scene! Looking forward to see more from you!

Greetings!
