Karen, Composition colour and lighting are good but I think it may be about 2/3 stop under exposed. Increase the brightness so that the shadow detail of the roses shows through and increase contrast slightly. In the upper right corner, clone out the edge of the background material.

Nice shot, I would PS out the top right corner and add a slight amount of light to the shot. Still an excellent shot. just nit picks...
