Abandoned LocH Ard

ian cameron

Another quiet winter image with subdued colour courtesy of a thick coating of hoar frost. Winter provides me with some of my favourite images of Scotland this one is close to a little village called Aberfoyle on the East side of Loch Lomond. Pentax 67II, 55-100 zoom, 0.45ND grad, F22 at 2 sec Fuji Velvia. Hope its not too quiet a shot for you. Please take a look at some new images recently uploaded to Transient Light and Timecatcher.

Quiet and understated. I felt the sombre little boat at the edge of

Loch Ard was appropriately represented the hoar frost muting the

colours admirably. I trust it isn't too quiet.

Ian, I'm quite amazed at the detail. It's not overly dramatic but a quiet nice. I don't know if I like the footprints on the dock. I just posted my first 67 image, I was blown away at the detail.
