Very good composition, I like the bright green in the center, breakes up the subdued colors.

Thank you both for your generous comments! The light that afternoon in Yorkshire was constantly changing (in addition to me fumbling with my newish camera!), so I feel pretty lucky to have gotten this shot.

Reminds me of the painter Thomas Kincade. I love the light on the grass. It almost looks un natural. I really like the satuarated colors. Excellent.

And I think we all know what you mean when you mention how you feel lucky when you get a shot like this. It's what keeps us coming back for more. I'll keep checking back for updates.
