Old hands with old technology. I like this one a lot. The fact that you resisted and did not put the writing machine straight in the center is really a good thing. This composition is compelling me to keep looking at it.

My mother (born 1904) had a typewriter like this and regretted that she followed our advice to "update" to an electric typewriter in the '60s. Your picture brings back fond memories of the machine and its owner-- and is also an excellent photo. Thank you.
