Technically this picture is perfect(!) though I think you could have caught a more interesting expression on the face of you're subject.

a great photo, the back lighting effect is wonderful, it is a little soft around the face. I understand the problems getting good photos of performers in the split second that the light is right.

 

Its very grainly for neopan 400, what did you use as a developer?

I agree. Something missing. I don't know if it's the expression or what. I'm not too crazy about the spotlight on his shoulder. Then again, these are not the easiest of photos to take

I like the absence of all the stage stuff for once in my pictures. I also like the retro/kitsch style of old pictures, that this picture reminds me of, and exactly that fictitious posing expresion on the singer's face. Of course, I am just crazy about the spotlight on his shoulder.
