I believe so.

 

Beautiful lighting and great use of the complimentary colour palette. The central positioning of the general composition works for me.

 

Overall a good simple uncomplicated image. Your monochrome egg series shows some nice delicate tonalities which are repeated in this colour example.

at first, looking at the thumbnail I though it was just an egg yolk in there... but on reflection that would be harder to do... without breaking it.
