Yes, very good emotions and very good lighting. I only think the sunglasses are a bit disturbing in such a detailed portrait. :) r.

This is a great shot! In my opinion, the safety glasses are as vital to this shot as his expression. They let you know who this man is. A very blue-collar, almost environmental, portrait. Nice work.

Aaron, Tony is a very keen cyclist....these are delux cycle shades...apparently ;-) although I can see why you saw them as safety specs.....must mention that to him next time I see him.

 

What I like about this is just how open and genuine his smile is. It was shot in a doorway, dull overcast day, as he was about to leave for a giant cycle ride through the Argyllshire hills in Scotland.
