ken johnson 0 Posted February 12, 2006 This evangelical came to the university and I was struck by his dramatic expressions. This is part of a series in my portfolio Link to comment
will king 0 Posted February 12, 2006 This guy needs to add being judgemental to that list. These kinds of people quickly forget that we are saved by grace and not by works or lack of works. I would liked to have seen the other signs that the people sitting down were displaying. What were they protesting about? Link to comment
ken johnson 0 Posted February 12, 2006 The students were protesting against the evangialist Go to my portfolio for a picture of their signs Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted February 12, 2006 Maybe he's overcompensating for his own doubts. Somehow I don't think that's what the love of Jebus(:-)) looks like... You've caught the right moment here, almost but not quite pointing at the viewer. And I love the background details, the smiling man on the left, and on the right, the other man appears to be a bell ringer. I suppose it would be better to have gotten at least one of the students posters properly visible(instead of having to go to another shot for it), just to add more context, but you've caught a great moment, so no biggie. aeaster 0 Posted February 12, 2006 Strange; did the Taliban shave off their beards and come to America when we kicked them out of Afganistan? Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted February 12, 2006 This is a common sight on many campuses. Often local zealots will find a mentally imbalanced person and put him up to this type of behavior. I remember one fellow at the University of Arizona that would be delivered to the campus where he would rant and rave and in the afternoon he would be picked up again. Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted February 13, 2006 This sort generally prey on the weak minded, as they are pretty weak between the ears themselves, what the heck do they think they could accomplish among college students.....great social commentary photography......Jim Link to comment
dmitrii.coclea 0 Posted February 13, 2006 I totally agree with Will King!! Fellas like this one turn people away from God more than any sin he's preaching against. Great shot, love the emotion!!! Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted February 16, 2006 reminds me of "preacher dan" who would make a weekly trip to my college to let us know who was "on a Highway to Hell" Link to comment
