josemartinez 0 Posted February 13, 2006 thanks for posting and for keep it color!... i like the photo. why you use that wide black frame? Link to comment
DuncanBowers 0 Posted February 13, 2006 Alon - your very kind, thanks. Jose - i think the frame gives a classic look to a 'Victorian' image, BUT i do get criticism of my black borders so i think maybe you have a valid point :) Thanks for both taking the time to comment. cheers, Duncan Link to comment
dominiquedodge 0 Posted February 23, 2006 This is unusual and the textures in the fur really merit a closer look. I like what you have tried to achieve showing this but overall the photo has ended up looking a bit too busy (and therefore diminishing your main subject, which for me is the central zone at the bottom where the strap is rubbing the fur). Don't be afraid of tight cropping! PS if you'd like any tips on the frame of my Sandbag photo - just email me. The frame is terribly easy to do! Link to comment
DuncanBowers 0 Posted February 27, 2006 Dominique; thanks i really appreciate the critique; now at last i think i see why this photo doesn't really work; rather than adding depth, the top right is just distracting, making the sweat & fur seem squashed in the corner when really it was the subject of the photo. thank you! regards, dsb :) Link to comment
