Awesome photo! Great timing. I'm no bird expert, but it looks like an immature Black-crowned Night Heron, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. It certainly is fantastic that you captured this at this moment. My one complaint/critique would be the cut-off feet, but in a photo such as this it hardly matters. Nicely done.

Focus and dof is perfect, excellent shot.

Beautiful picture. I suggest to crop it.

Showing only the head and the fish will make it more dramatic. It will also eliminate all the distracting objects in the background. Congratulations!

Great lighting on the bird and fish and good sense of drama but the background is too busy and distracting. Is it ethical to tone it down in ps? Especially the white jagged object. Or does that represent your third set of jaws?

Very nice picture, but you couldnt crop the feet

The first thing that caught my attention was the catfish. I believe that makes the photo more special because you never see birds eatting catfish. Graet DOF.
