Camel at Sunrise in Dahab, Egypt

This is a good photographic idea. Did you consider shooting the camel in silhouette and from a lower angle to capture the beautiful sky in the background? The fill flash looks a little weak also.

Centered horizon and subject make the shot static. Moving closer would have made it more interesting, but with animals it might not be the best thing to do-- zoom lenses come to mind.

I think I would have tried for a sillouette instead of fill flash. What are the dark things above and right of the camel, flies? They are a distraction.

Wow, am I ever of differing opinion here. I really like this shot! I love the composition with the sun in the curve of the neck. I think this was well thought out and well done!
