Made me smile. Perhaps you should try shooting it again when the light is subtler? I find the shadows a bit distracting. You may also be able to show more texture on the wall.

 

Other than that, I really like it. The bust looks like he wants to escape and ride away.

I like to look at it... but my artistic ability fell short of understanding the things this pic is telling...

A good start for what could have been a great street photo. Wouldn't it have been great if there was someone leaning against the wall bhind the statue? Or even facing the wall?

Message, smessage, I'm just an asthetic, and it looks good. I like the shadows, full range of values, excellent print and scan.
