mike_gal 0 Posted February 14, 2006 Wow, this is a great shot with a clever crop, Julian. How did you take it? Link to comment
jyt747 0 Posted February 14, 2006 Thank you, Mike. It's an airliner flying in front of us at 37000 ft. We were flying in the same direction, with 1000 ft difference in altitude. The sky is very clear, and its contrail is just perfect. With Photoshop I did some Levels and Curve adjustment to darken the sky, making it look like outer space. Link to comment
glogower 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Very cool! It does look like the shuttle blasting through the atmosphere. Link to comment

darinheinz 0 Posted September 11, 2010 Hi Julian.I "favorited" this absolutely outstanding image quite some time ago, and I can't help but keep coming back to it. My question is this:To what extent can this image be enlarged before conspicuous blurring and/or pixelation results? Because this would make for a really cool poster-print. And yes, I would totally buy a copy...Excellent work!Yours very truly,Darin HeinzMelbourne, Florida USA Link to comment
