Damn you PT! Now I'm tempted to go for this as a dinner... Very effective on the theme.

Aesthetically, I would prefer to see the full meal instead of the two glasses. Also, I'm not sure if it could work better if you were seeing someone looking at it with the desire of the meal in his eyes.

But overall, I like it.

"Junk food" - a great theme fit... fast, easily available. You can be sure the gymnast on the container seldom eats here. I like the composition and the way you've handled the DOF, PT. Nice work.

My arteries are slamming shut at the thought of it, PT.

Good concept, interesting dof showing the 'regular' in the bg, and amazing juxtaposition between the oil-laden fries and the athletic gymnast they're using in their advertising.

Incredibly I have never been so desperate as to eat at this place.

I love it.

This looks like it could be a staged shot, but I doubt that the *fitness challenged* guy knows about it. If it were, the only thing that I would change would be to give him a little more room on the left.

If we gave ratings, it would be the tops. Congrats, and thanks for setting the bar so high.

to add to my comment.

What makes this for me is the repetition of the gymnast (i love the one with the cola on him) contrasted against the man in the background.

I wish I had thought of it.

To me the 2 cups work. If this is not a lucky shot then I reallyadmire this PT - for the reasons mentioned (freis vs gymnast vs regular in the BG). The only thing that bothers me a bit is the trace of a person next to the 2nd cup. Since I can't believe this was staged I forgive PT for that :)

Very good!

As I often fall victim to this temptation - I understand the theme fit here! I eat this food knowing full well that it won't do me any good (emotionally or physically)...

Not much to add on the composition, that hasn't been mentionned by others.

The colours look a bit "off", the chips a bit green - but maybe that was intentional ?

No doubting the theme fit. The composition is great! The focus is interesting, the chips so nicely "in your face", and then trailing off to "Mr. Chubby" in the backgound stuffing himself. The ONLY gripe to what I feel is a really good photographic illustration, are the unnecessary, slightly untidy, drops of coke.

So many comments here show how sensible we are to this kind of food, it seems one of the most dangerous temptations nowadays....nothing to add to the concept and execution, besides a great eye to find out our weakness.

Good theme fit PT, but i think you can improve this by leaving more space around the subject. Everythin is close together (maybe too close). Some space in foreground and on sides would help.

I can imagine - for some people a temptation, for others (me included) the contrary. Apart from that - a well mastered composition including DOF results in a clear message. I like how this image includes a "fat" guy (blurred in the distance) - a possible victim of this kind of temptation.

cheers Jana

I find the juxtaposition of the 3 ellements in the frame, well composed. the diagonal line and angle of fries are leading the eye to the fat man in the corner,( they have a significance tempting place in the composition) and than to the athlete which is exactly the vs. of what it means "junk food"( oils, bad nutrition etc.) The psychological connection works well presenting the contrast.Good rendition fit well the theme imo.
