kslonaker 0 Posted February 13, 2006 Great color & detail. Has a lot of action, but very little blur - just enough. I like that the faces are tack sharp. Well done! Link to comment
Karl Schuler 48 Posted February 14, 2006 Many times I shot photos from those colourful chicken in countryside Pakistan. Never I was satisfied with the result. And now I see this photo and I come back to it again and again. It is perfect in all possible ways. It is the action of the seemingly amused children, the uncontrolled reaction of the chicken, as they usually do, it is the overall composition, like froozen in action by a careful director and on top of it, it is the warm colour and simple background which give an excellent frame for the scene. Congratulations again. Karl Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 14, 2006 " Running with chickens"....( Instead of " Running with wolves"... like the film...). Gay,colorfull and at the decisive moment Umair. Pnina Link to comment

longtang_lin 0 Posted February 15, 2006 this is perfect timing to catch the photo.. kids ' expression, hand signals, chicken's position.. everything is so perfect in position.. Question.. Did you direct the scene and ask children to act or this is a spontaninous shot ??? How many shots you have tried to get 1 of this ??? LONGTANG JOHN LIN Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Lin , the kids were engaged in pranks with the fowl, i told them 2 do so & let them play this way 4 some while till they began 2 give expressions & started 2 enjoy this..i took several shots, 15 i guess, on continuous mode. Link to comment

richard van hoesel 0 Posted February 18, 2006 Wonderful image Umair. I love the soft light, perfect timing and extraordinarily well correographed stunt chickens. My only preference might have been to be able to see the kid's eyes to match those glowing smiles. Link to comment

cecamde 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Your children and the chickens are soo alive, one can almost touch them! The light is superb, the details are very clear, sharp and well defined. Just tell me, did they catch any of them for their supper? Nah, I'm kidding. Great shot. Clara E. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted March 29, 2006 WOW.. :-) So alive, beautiful ! Perhaps the colors are a little too warm, but a color-corrected version would hit the ceiling for me. Splendid action. Link to comment
iren 1 Posted June 9, 2006 I must say that I keep coming back to this photo. I loved it when I first saw it but I seem to like it more and more. The pure joy, innocense and playfulness of children shines through in this perfectly captured shot. Congratulations and thank you for sharing. Kindest regards~ Iren Link to comment
