Many times I shot photos from those colourful chicken in countryside Pakistan. Never I was satisfied with the result. And now I see this photo and I come back to it again and again. It is perfect in all possible ways. It is the action of the seemingly amused children, the uncontrolled reaction of the chicken, as they usually do, it is the overall composition, like froozen in action by a careful director and on top of it, it is the warm colour and simple background which give an excellent frame for the scene. Lin , the kids were engaged in pranks with the fowl, i told them 2 do so & let them play this way 4 some while till they began 2 give expressions & started 2 enjoy this..i took several shots, 15 i guess, on continuous mode.

Wonderful image Umair. I love the soft light, perfect timing and extraordinarily well correographed stunt chickens. My only preference might have been to be able to see the kid's eyes to match those glowing smiles.
