In response to your query : I mean the noticeable distortion of the buildings towards the edges of the frame, the way they lean inwards. This is usually the result of shooting straight (90 degree) verticals with a zoom lens. Generally a prime lens will render the buildings as you see them.

This effect can be rectified (at least to some extent) by software programmes such as Photoshop which has a Transform filter tool ('perspective' & 'distort' are usually employed for straightening buildings.)
