The texture of this is incredible. Makes me want to reach out and touch the wet sand... or feel it between my toes. Makes me long for the smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves. Yet it is also so desolate and mysterious... like unchartered territory where no human has ever walked. It makes me lonely, and yet the loneliness is strangely comforting. I could stare at this for hours. And I agree with the guy above... it should be framed and hung on my wall.

Hi Robert. Who would have thought that something I have walked on so many times could be so beautiful. Ripples on the beach or mudshapes. Well seen and composed. Just when I needed a little inspiration to try different things and see from a different angle. Great stuff.

It amazes me how an abstract can evoke emotion, but this sure does! The whole series is just fabulous!

HI Robert, I think your B/W series on sand ripples are excellent. These should be on peoples walls. I hope they are? Fantastic work. Thanks Simon Fowler

Yes, I have a few on my walls and a few printed on canvas at an exhibition in my town. The canvas prints turned out very well. Thanks for your comments.`

Hi Robert.  I love this series.  The lighting really enhances the patterns.  You obviously have a good eye for composition as well.  Take care.
