amalsircar 2 Posted February 27, 2006 Very good composition and light. I wish there were few students in the stair case. Link to comment

mitras 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Great idea! There are tremendous possibilities at the coffee house. You've gone for a supernatural look in this one :-) The wall has come out well with all the shadow details. If you go back there, try another one without the door at the lower left corner. Adding the characters from Manna Dey's song (college yuppies, middle aged intellectuals, old waiters, etc.) would make a great series. Link to comment
k_basu 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Thanks - David, Subhasish, Mr. Sircar, Mariana and Sayan! This was around noon (in January) and I saw the spotlight falling on blood donation camp posters on the wall. And the stairway curve looked dramatic in the light. This one is my favourite too. Sayan, your idea about doing a coffee house series is great. I did take some pictures of typical coffee house characters. Here is one. See if it resembles 'art college er chhele Nikhilesh Sanyal' :) Link to comment
mitras 0 Posted April 23, 2006 Nice one. Though, this guy is too old to be 'art college-er chele'. I'd cast him as Amol :-). Link to comment
