LorenzaF 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Olaf, wow, this is very, very surreal, very symbolic ... the tower, the warm yellow light coming from the windows (every window!) and the dark blue starry sky ... it looks quite magrittesque. I loved it. Did you do a lot of post production work on it or did you shot it as it is? Bye Lorenza Link to comment
olaf bathke 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Only the usual stuff: its saturated of course, but not to much. I did a little perspectiv correction.. Link to comment
megansteen 0 Posted February 5, 2006 I love the symetry in this shot. I like the stars in the bright blue sky, and the contrast between the lights in the windows, and the sky. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 5, 2006 Great work. At first glance, it seems unreal, a Photoshop composite or something. Then you see that, No, the light probably did look like this, and it is the skilled composition and timing that has produced the magical, "unreal" effect. The contrast between the yellow of the windows and the deep blue sky is stunning, as is the use of perspective in the composition. Lovely. Link to comment
bryantrook 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Excellent shot. Good idea on keeping it symmetrical. The few stars really help the feeling. A great poster. Link to comment
