Nice overall composition. The slight curature in his path leads the viewer towards what looks like a small hill. Slight improvements could be made by cropping out the shadows(?) in the lower left, and deepening the contrast (it looks washed out or faded). This might also bring out more definition to the sky. Consider also trying to use the rule of thirds. Your horizon is smack in the middle.

I love this 'old' feel here. Yeah, the logical part of mind asks 'what is he doing in the middle of the field', but the artistic side enjoys the sight, the horizon and overall scene. Very nice.
