Naftali, I thought of your title here just the other day. I came across a website in which they displayed several of Mondrian's works, all of them oriented at right angles to the floor!

Of course, Mondrian would not have anything like that. it is hard to find a diagonal in his painting. in he title, i was referring to his attention to those magical squares. when repeated, they can put one into an altered state. almost ;)

it's like a visual drum beat.
