sunsets Walking the Beach

A graduated filter would have served you well here : it would have controlled the flare in the sky and given you more time to expose the foreground correctly. I can't make out much detail in the shadows.

Seems like a lot of blue to me for some reason, particularly in the clouds. Would still love to be on that beach though!

the view produces a strange vision of people walking by the sea shore right a top of nowhere

i'd hate to suggest banality like 'crop the bottom part'

and proposing usage of non-existant filter also

so i think there's one way to turn this photograph into dramatic image

burn/darken the left-upper part of the sky to level the sky brightness and keeping the sun and the sea flare the only bright parts of the image

and positivle left as much of that dark area as possible but decenter the horizon line

 

....and keep the blue color ;)

Realy BLUEtifull, I did see the large version, wow, I whis I was there.
