paul_coppin 0 Posted January 13, 2002 Itai, technically the photo looks fine, but, you know, when I stand back and look at it, to my eye, the rock in the background is too dominant - it keeps grabbing my eye. The leaves at left of center connect to lines in the rock and take my eye up and out the upper right corner. The leaves seem to me to be incidental to the rock rather than the other way around. This tends to make the image look flat. It might be improved by lowering the tonal value of the rock and brightening up the forground. I suspect the photo carries better in print than it does on the web. Regards, Paul Link to comment
constantine_stewart 0 Posted January 14, 2002 First, I like the colors in the photo; however, the composition doesn't do much for me. My eye wanders all over the scene. I agree with one of the other comments, the photo looks flat to me. Your photo of mother and girl on the bus is very good. Link to comment
jodie coston 0 Posted January 14, 2002 I like the compositon very much. The lines of the rock and the leaf in the upper left work very well with the leaves at the bottom. Nice shot. Link to comment
SolaresLarrave 2 Posted January 18, 2002 An abstract shot. The composition doesn't lead the eye, but the texture's effect is something very well achieved. Link to comment
michelle a. 0 Posted February 23, 2002 A most beautiful study of texture....I really like this piece. Link to comment
chuck_french 0 Posted February 24, 2002 another good phoeot, but my eyes are looking at the rock and the leaves and can't quite make up my mind on what the "purpose" of the photo was. The textures are good though. Link to comment
fausti 0 Posted December 9, 2004 Very good shot, for combinations of soft colors and compo. Also great detail in leafs. Regards Link to comment
