Face in the dark.

How can she dare to say that this is not a good portrait? it has a lot of strengh..A great close-up with the harsh lighting that makes it even stronger...Just bring back a little bit the info in the overexposed areas...hummm... I also find interesting the necklace...

She wasn't very expert of photography...it's a beautiful portrait, I would only crop a little bit of the right side because, IMO, there is too weight given to the shadow area. By the way, beautiful girl.

Great portrait. It is quite ambiguous the strength of the light and frame contrasting with her lost look, that gives an impression of insecurity. Really nice.

To me it is absolutely stunning as is. Beautiful capture and I find the lighting excellent and an incredible contrast.

IMHO, it's a great portrait and very effective with those hard contrast between light and shadow. The girl is beautiful, maybe she was not an expert in photography. Very nice composition.
