gt1 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Took a nice relaxing winter visit to Yosemite last weekend. This is the first of a couple I'll post. That's Mount Watkins reflected in Mirror Lake. Link to comment
Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted February 1, 2006 I like it, but think it might be improved by a grad neutral density filter. I would also move to eliminate the sticks/sno on the lower right. Link to comment
havaux_tranis_robert 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Beautiful composition, I magnify coloring and a wonderful reflection. Link to comment
gt1 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Thanks, I would have liked to get the sticks out but that would either take some Photoshopping or cropping out some of the reflection. I should have paid more attention to the angles when I composed the shot. I'm still a beginner so this was first time I've noticed that I could use a graduated neutral density filter. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 6, 2006 There seems to be a lot of lens distortion with this image. The reflection seems ok at the center but really off at the right edge. Was the photo taken at 10mm (16mm eq) focal length? Nice scene and I agree with a grad ND filter. Link to comment
gt1 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Thanks, I'd have to look at the original file but IIRC this was at 10mm. Link to comment
