Great dinamic shot!!!

Nice image but I also like the fact that your shadow (I presume) in the lower left corner of the photo makes for an interesting shot. It appears as if the skier is being photographed by the actual shadow.

Dan, I'm really impressed with this shot. Now, I'm typically someone who hates seeing other Pnet folks messing with somebody else's crop, but I tried a square crop which, to me, makes the image even more surreal and perplexes the viewer's sense of scale (I can't post it... basically a square on the top right two thirds, just editing out the jump, with the mountain tops about halfway up in the frame). People can never leave well enough alone!

 

After looking at some of your other work on pnet, I hope you're getting your work published, and that you're getting good fees. Outstanding and innovative work, perfectly suited to your subjects.
